This is family story about a forgetful Town Mayor, a magimistical bear and their journey to make it on time to the Festival of Teddy Bears.
Or will Councillor Pompous McDoom get his way and force Mayor Roxie Riverbloom to resign?
But this isn't just a story about magic, cake and keeping promises, it is also a way of getting young people interested in local government and how they can help build even better communities.
This book, now in a new second edition, features extra short stories and teacher notes - all focused on celebrating the power of kindness and the importance of community life in towns and villages.
